Course Description

Site of the 2005 Philippine Open. This 27-hole golf course in Lipa City, Batangas is set within 200-plus hectares of lush terrain 1,200 feet above sea level, at the foot of breathtaking Malarayat mountain range. As an all-weather golf course, it promises to be flood-free the whole year round. It boasts of worldclass recreational facilities for the entire family. Soft spikes required.

Facilities

Golf Club: Exclusive men's and ladies' locker rooms equipped with showers, jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, pampering areas and gym; golfers' lounge (restaurant); function rooms; pro shop; driving range; putting & chipping green; halfway house with men's and ladies rooms; tea houses on each nine and rain shelters. Country Club: Grand ballroom; Café Liberica (restaurant); function rooms; sunken garden & gazebo; children's pavilion with nursery, indoor and outdoor play areas. Sports Facilities: Covered courts for basketball, tennis, badminton, table tennis and squash; outdoor swimming pool complex with children's pool and adult lap pool; fishing lake; campsite and equestrian center.

Availability

Private proprietary club. Non-members or guests must be sponsored or accompanied by a member. Tee time reservations essential on weekends and holidays.

Location

About 80 kilometers south of Makati City.

Accommodations

32 de luxe hotel rooms at the Country Club. 24 rooms at The Inns at Mount Malarayat, ideal for corporate seminars, golf school and other regular overnight accommodation with affordably-priced value packages. There are other places to stay in nearby Batangas City like the Batangas Country Club, Days Hotel and Pontefino. Some prefer to drive back to Makati City where most of the big hotels are located.
